Abstract
Rhythmic movement disorder (RMD) is a group of stereotyped, repetitive movements, which typically occur before sleep onset and are sustained into light sleep. RMD may appear at an older age due to an injury to the central nervous system. Here we report a patient who has adult-onset RMD (head rolling, body rocking, and leg banging) with restless leg syndrome. RMD interrupted the night sleep and made her sleepy during the day. With clonazepam and ropinirole, her symptoms much improved.
